Circle Laguna de Bay

The Pagudpud trip is out of the window, at least for now. It would make a great trip for next summer.

For now we have changed plans. We’re now going (as of this writing) around the Laguna de Bay. I did it once in college with some classmates for a school project, but this time I’ll be doing it in full circle. From our Cainta home and back.

This map I found online basically shows what our trip’s going to be like. And Hacienda / Villa Escudero is also among our destinations.

Wake Me Up When September Ends…

Nhil and I have been thinking of where to go for our scheduled vacation this last week of the month. Yes, we have the date, but we don’t have a place to go.

We want to go somewhere we can drive around and see some sights. Swimming in a pool or beach would be nice as well. A few of our top choices are Laguna, Batangas, or even our own backyard, Rizal.

But I’ll be honest, the north seems enthralling to me. Particularly Pagudpud.

That would be a loooooooooonnngg drive indeed!

Long drive? I’ve got one beautiful word for it: stopovers!

After The Rains…

After a whole week of nothing but rain, this is what greeted me when I opened our gates:

I'm welcoming the sun for a change.

It’s a great refresher to see sunlight for a change. A great day for a short drive to the mall and replenish our supplies.

I’m Definitely Not A Technical Guy

It took me 2 hours to turn these parts:

Parts galore! And these are not all of them.

Into this elliptical machine.

I got a great workout just trying to put this together.
